A Night for Cinema

Read More: A Night for CinemaTIE MEN is a bespoke tailoring house, with ties and accessories for the modern gentleman — where every garment is built around the wearer's measurements, posture and story. Both our Saigon and Hanoi ateliers also take women's tailoring.
Rather than chasing elaborate details, TIE MEN believes in restraint: silhouette, proportion and the way a garment feels the moment it is worn — these are the things most worth our time.
The Bespoke JourneyEvery ready-to-wear or made-to-measure garment begins with a standard block. Bespoke begins differently: from your measurements alone, the cutter drafts a paper pattern that belongs to you.
From the first chalk lines to the final stitch, every garment is refined on your body at each fitting, so the silhouette settles balanced and natural. No two bodies are the same — and no two TIE MEN garments ever are either.
A journey that has kept its principles through the years: unhurried, meticulous, and always built around the wearer.
A first appointment at the atelier — about the occasion ahead, the way you move, and what you would like the garment to say on your behalf.
Cloths woven in Italy and England — wool and linen — held in the hand to find the right surface, drape and shade for the design.
A detailed set of measurements becomes a paper pattern drafted for you alone — the foundation of your garment.
The first chalk lines are laid on the cloth. The sketch begins to become a real garment.
The tailor studies the garment on your body, refining each part through successive fittings — a suit is rarely complete from the very first try-on.
Buttons, lapels, the final stitches — executed with thoughtful restraint, so every detail settles into the whole rather than competing for attention.
TIE MEN selects cloth from long-established Italian and English mills — each length of fabric the starting point of the wearer's own story.
Bespoke is not about adding more. Sometimes, it is about knowing what to leave behind — retaining only the details that truly matter to the wearer.Tie Men Tailor

This guide gathers simple care habits for tailored garments. What each piece needs depends on its cloth and construction — if you are unsure, ask your advisor.
Try not to wear the same suit two days in a row. Resting it on a hanger for 24–48 hours between wears is a widely recommended habit for wool.
A broad wooden hanger that fills the shoulder helps support the chest and shoulder line. Trousers hang by the cuff, or folded over a bar.
A minute with a natural-bristle garment brush, top to bottom along the nap, lifts away dust before it settles into the weave.
Steam relaxes wool; a hot iron flattens and glazes it. Use a steamer — or simply hang the suit in a warm bathroom. If you must press, low heat and always through a cotton cloth.
Once or twice a year is enough. Dry-cleaning chemicals strip the natural oils of the fibre; between visits, brushing and steaming do the real work.
A breathable cotton garment bag — never plastic — with cedar or lavender against moths. Before a long season away: brush, steam, then put to rest.
Water, agitation and heat felt and shrink wool permanently. There is no way back.
A thin wire cuts into the shoulder and can distort its line.
Strong sunlight fades dyed wool unevenly, shoulder first. Air the garment in shade.
Alcohol marks the surface of fine wool. Fragrance belongs on the skin, not the lapel.
For a fresh stain: blot gently with a clean, damp white cloth — never rub. For anything stubborn, a loose button, a seam, or a silhouette that no longer fits the person you have become — contact TIE MEN and your advisor will talk you through the options.
TIE MEN pursues the art of bespoke tailoring. Each garment is crafted exclusively for you — shaped by your own measurements, brought to life by our cutters and tailors. From the first conversation to the finished garment, the process is a true collaboration, and the result is a piece of clothing unlike any other you will own.
Book an AppointmentYour bespoke journey begins at our atelier in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) or Hanoi or Da Nang — or online, wherever you are — with a dedicated advisor of the house.
We take the time to understand your lifestyle, the occasion ahead and your sartorial ambitions — before anything is measured or drawn.
Together, you will select from our cloth library — Loro Piana, Scabal, Zegna, Holland & Sherry and other mills.
Cloth is chosen in the hand, not on paper: surface, drape and shade — then the details of cut, style and finishing.
Your measurements are taken individually, with attention to your proportions and the fit you want to achieve. Your cutter also studies your posture and stance — how you prefer to stand, sit and move.
These are not numbers alone: they are the record of one body, and the foundation of everything that follows.
From your measurements, a paper pattern is drafted for you alone — a blueprint that exists for no one else.
The pattern is laid on your cloth and chalked around by hand, with checks and stripes taken into account. Then the cloth is cut by shears — the true beginning of your garment.
From there, the garment is refined over successive fittings — how many depends on the piece, its design, what you ask of it and how it settles on you. The tailor studies it on your body until the silhouette settles balanced and natural.
When your garment is finished, it is yours alone — the culmination of craft and collaboration.
Garment Care GuideTo own a TIE MEN bespoke garment is more than owning a piece of clothing — it can be the beginning of a relationship with the house. Book an appointment to begin your journey with us.

Every commission begins with the cloth. TIE MEN keeps a library of lengths from the great mills of Italy, England and France — held in the hand, chosen for one wearer alone.
